I've been involved in the church all my life. In fact, I don't remember a time in my life where I wasn't actively participating in ministry. As a child, I would occasionally lead songs for our 1,500 member church, sing on TV, help my parents with small group, do puppets for children's church, and more...
This pattern continued through adulthood, and when looking back, I'm amazed at how God has used me to minister in His church. I've preached, led worship, led small groups, taught youth and children, participated in missions, prison and inner-city ministries, directed camps, concerts and external ministries, and still find that I have a desire to give more.
And God has blessed me with a family that not only supports my vision for ministry, but is actively involved.
My beautiful wife, Holli, and I co-lead several ministries and she is also the MOPS Director for our church. She is in love with Jesus and our family is so much better because of her.
Our ten year old, Tori, is the most lively worshiper that I've ever seen. She loves to sing and act. She is entering the fifth grade at Cougle Home School this year.
Emmi, our eight year old, has probably the most magnetic personality that I've ever encountered (I am somewhat biased). She's a great singer and is learning so much about the Bible. She's entering the third grade this year.
Abbi, six, occasionally leaves me speechless (she's full of surprises). It never ceases to amaze me to see her give a hug and a kiss to a complete stranger at the nursing home.
Next is Kezzi, she's four. She is almost a clone of our second child, Emmi. Kezzi is excited about church and loves to describe events to people. She has a very impressive vocabulary.
Our youngest, Evi, turns one in July. Who thought that after four children, number five could be so exciting. We're truly blessed.
